There should be no ‘Backer System.’

DAPAT WALA NG ‘BACKER SYSTEM’- Presumptive VP SARA DUTERTE

It is extremely difficult to comprehend how difficult it is to be deployed in a Private Company and most especially in Government Offices. Out of thousands of graduating students across the country, only a few are given the chance to even hire in Private and Public Offices. That’s why some of them resort to find a backer.

This system is unanimously accepted by most. Oftentimes being used as a way to extort money from our helpless mates. This is a dark secret for some when you fall into false hopes of bringing green pastures.

In BACKER SYSTEM, you must use your networks including your parent’s networks and reach out to them if they know someone that can help you. Better be prepared to face them and ask them face to face about your request. You should do all things possible to help yourself and your parents.

Be on top your game, always. Keep your documents updated, keep reviewing entrance questions, basic knowledge, etc. This is important because once that opportunity of an exam or oral interview comes, you have an edge over your fellow applicants.

That's why presumptive VP SARA DUTERTE said that there should be no ‘Backer System.’ because this is the MAJOR problem our country.

According to her, it has become a culture especially in GOVERNMENT OFFICES. Even in their own City Hall (DAVAO CITY) .

"I’m very irritated when someone approaches me telling me to appoint this person. I had a tarpaulin installed outside our office informing all that we do not accept such requests. There is no requirement for someone to have a ‘backer’ to get a job. That is incorrect."

“Dapat wala ng ‘Backer System.’ Mao na ang problema sa atung nasud. Nahimo siyang kultura sa government offices...even dinha sa atua sa City Hall, irritated kaayu ko anang muduul unya mu-ingon i-appoint ni si in-ani, in-ana. Nagpabuhat gyud ku ug tarpaulin sa gawas sa akong opisiina nga dili mi mudawat ug mga ing-ana.”

Presumptive VP Pres said that in hiring applicant for government offices should not need backers. She also said that it become a wrong culture among the Filipinos to apply in a government position or hire someone with a backer or connection in power in the said office.
