The Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) is given to the government employees to recognize their collective and unceasing participation in and invaluable contribution to the Administrations continuing efforts toward the establishment of streamlined government processes and more responsive delivery of public services.
The Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) is granted to government employees like DepEd personnel in order to honor their widespread, continuous engagement in and vital support of the administration’s ongoing efforts to create more efficient government operations and responsive public service delivery.
In the previous years, an SRI not exceeding Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000) was given to each of the following personnel in the Executive Department. On the other hand, the Department of Education (DepEd) employees received last year 2021 an SRI amounting from 7,000 to 10,000 pesos depending on the remaining budget of each division. Here are some provisions regarding Service Recognition Incentive (SRI):
a. Civilian personnel in national government agencies (NGAs), including those in state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs), occupying regular, contractual, or casual positions; and
b. Military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines under the Department of National Defense, and uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police. Bureau of Eire Protection, and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology under the Department of the Interior and Local Government. the Bureau of Corrections under the Department of Justice, the Philippine Coast Guard under the Department of Transportation, and the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
Also, the Department of Education has no other released update regarding the SRI for Fiscal Year 2022. We will give more information regarding this as soon as it is available.
